[QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA 2015] - To Mt Coo-Tha!

That was the view from the balcony early in the morning. Headed to Brisbane after our breakfast.

Had a cup of flat white while waiting for the bus to Mt Coot Tha. I like Brisbane where the city is busy but at the same time, it gives me a feeling of relaxation. 

Reached Mt Coot-Tha after 45 minutes of bus ride.

Had our lunch at Kuta Café.

[QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA 2015] - Sea World (Part 2)

Had fish and chips for lunch. The food was okay, but the portion was way too huge for three of us.

Went to the Fish Detectives Sea Lion Show after that. The show was amazing and funny. 

Before we left, we went to watch the Jet Stunt Extreme show. 

We went to the Beachfront Night Market after we took a rest at the apartment. The night market mostly sell handcraft souvenirs and some homemade organic stuffs. 

[QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA 2015] - Sea World! (Part 1)

Woke up with the view overlooking the beach and the ocean. Sat at the balcony seeing the surfers surfed at the ocean, people with their dogs...

Went to Sea World today, since it was one of the main theme parks in Gold Coast. It's impossible for us to miss the adorable dolphins, the playful seals, the majesty of the penguins and the menacing sharks. 

Proceeded to the Penguin Encounter. The upper level is where the King Penguins dwells in its exhibit of icy rock formation and they marched in file from one end to the other. 

Imagine Dolphin Show was the next! It was held at the Dolphin Cove which located right at the far end of the park. 

It's great to see how dolphin interacts with the conductor

Went to the Touch Pool at the Shark Bay after that. This is the only place where we get the chance to touch some of the marine file like star fishes, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. 

The star fishes feel rough and tough to the touch. 

Shark Bay was the next. The surface level allows us to see the swimming tropical fishes, sharks and stingrays through the clear waters. 

Visitors can proceed to an underground gallery and find themselves face to face with bull sharks! See the bottom of the tank here where the divers feed the sharks from.

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2015

Moved in to Slade Park hall. It isn't the first in my choice of hostels, but I start to love this hall so much, although it's further from the campus and city (apparently further from everything). It's quiet and less complicated, compared to other halls. And I'm glad to stay in a flat with great flatmates!

The way to the campus. Sometimes I'll just walk to the campus instead of taking the bus. 

Headington Campus. This is the campus where everything is based in: convenience store, bank, library, lecture theatre etc. But sometimes we have to go over to Headington Hill Campus for classes. 

Freshers Week! Signed up for societies, clubs and etc. The campus was packed with people! Got a lot of free stuffs!

School of Law BBQ night

21st Birthday / Halloween Night. I didn't know about the cakes and everything until I went to Siewhui's flat before we went to club for Halloween party. Had a pretty crazy 21st birthday night!

OBU-BAC Slade Park gathering. Had a steamboat dinner with 17 people at my flat, which was a really crazy night!
